"Ahora dime: ¿qué nota es?"

"Ella va a salir esta noche. Dejando a atrás su vanidad. Quiere gustar y ser gustada. Sentirse deseada. Bailar y bailar. Cómanse a besos esta noche. Total nadie lo va a notar. Cómanse a besos esta noche. Total nadie lo va a notar."

Because sometimes, that's all we want, and it's all we've wanted; "sentirse deseada, bailar y bailar". What girl in her pre-menstrual sympthon doesn't want to feel desired, wanted, dance, and dance through a night of lust and love? Façade. Friends with benefits? No, thank you (although, there's a voice in the back of my head shouting in silence "if you make it logical enough it could be a yes"), Chat-up lines? I love them! One-night-stands? Maybe a couple per... a period of time? Ha!

Pd. ¡Cómo me encantan los Babasónicos, por calientes! :)

"Muchacha audaz, no tienes más"

I cut my hand today! Mom had just bought some apples covered with candy, my stomach was so hungry that I didn't think clearly and... BLOOD! Yes, yes, yes, it wasn't that bad after all, only like 4 cms, and definitely not deep. I would rather say I cut myself with a samurai sword trying to steal bamboo from the neighbors (some of them are indeed Asians), but no. I just cut myself with a sharp kitchen knife desperately trying to eat an apple. Lame? Not so much ;)

"If I never see your face again, I don't mind"

I'm FINALLY done reading "Crimen y Castigo". It is such a good book!! :) I like it, it is so different from what I had been reading lately ha... I looooved the end!!

"Tierna melancolía, apasionada nostaligia"

SUMMER'S ALREADY HERE!

But... what happened to spring?! Is it over now?! That was fast! Anyway, be welcome nice Summer let your brightness shine over us, and please, please, please, don't overheat my room at night becuase really, I can't sleep. Be nice to us would you, nice Summer? Be nice to me :) We all like rainy days here, but it is lovely to wear a short floral dress once in a while. We all love our shoes and heels, but if there's too much rain we can't walk barefoot through the city. Be welcome Summer, we were all longing for you, missing you. Nobody else smell's the way you do Summer, the way you do... Pd. Be nice to Spring, don't let her be jealous of your light :)

"Liquid gold; in the morning nothing's easy"

"Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore, While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door..."

I totally love how Edgar Allan Poe writes the rhymes in this poem! It reminds me of Dr. Seuss ha! He is my new Dr. Seuss, all brand and new. He's going to be the Dr. Seuss of my youth. The Simpsons and English Teacher, thank you very much!! :)

"Mamacitas :)"

glamorosa, ninfa vagabunda
delicada,perla de ultramar
faraona,atractiva majestad
me retiro embriagado a tu eden,

enamorado y tuyo
enamorado y tuyo,
como si fuera la primera vez

cortesana, gata declarada
indecente, esponja del placer
sin verguenza, ama de la persuacion
deliciosa te voy a lamer

"Kick 'em in the face, taste the body"

"Hay besos que valen oro"

"Hay miradas que valen oro"

Estas son las frases del marketing usado por el Palacio de Hierro, y junto con los comerciales de perfumes, los de Coca Cola, los de Nike, y Adidas, son parte de mi publicidad favorita ja... Lo que nos hace vivir en una sociedad suedo-capitalista; tener comerciales favoritos! MARRRRKETING!! Pero bueno, lo que es bonito es bonito, y lo que está bien hecho, pues... ni hablar! *Liquid Gold*

Lo han entendido mis queridos English-speakers?? :)

Sing along with Lilly Allen ha! :)

Extremely boring weekend, extremely weird... really. I mean, I didn't even feel like myself! Anyway, I guess we all just have to have one once in a while :) whatever.

Mexico is the country of the "days off", but like, for real. We have days off for all kinds of things: Virgen de Guadalupe, los Reyes Magos, 5 de mayo (Batalla de Puebla), 28 de febrero (Flag's Day), 10 de mayo (Mother's Day), 30 de abril (Children's Day), 1 de noviembre (Día de Muertos), 1 de mayo (Work Day). And more days off due to: Sindicate's Day, Students' Day, Father's Day, some schools would even celebrate Grandparents' Day if they actually could!

I'm telling you this because... thanks to 30 de abril-1 de mayo-5 de mayo, I don't have school until Thursday!! OMG some of us really want to study and learn some things, but in the other hand, we all could handle a little break ha ;) Yes, this is how things are done in Mexico weeeeeeey!! You could easily just party every night if you hang out with the right kind of people... (and still this weekend was SO dull!!)

"Last cigarettes all you can get, turning your orbit around"

About Roberto Bolaño's "Dance Card"
Ideas. Scenes. One after the other, one after another. Before and After... Jodorowsky. He idealized Jodorowsky. He left Jodorowsky, because really, Jodorowsky had never been with him. He had never understood him. He never cared.

"But the fathers must be killed; poets are born orphans". Chilean poets are born orphans. Neruda. Neruda yes. Neruda no. Neruda and Roberto Bolaño's love-hate relationship. Neruda and other poets. Neruda and all his friends, or maybe Neruda and all his non friends. Neruda as Death in "Death and all his friends".

Dance Card: "The man in charged was a communist factory worker, chubby and perplexed, but willing to fight". Aren't we all him? Shouldn't we all be him? Willing to fight. Fight for conviction, fight for ideas made reality, fight for ourselves. Selfishness? Selfishness. "Were the Chileans of my generation brave? Yes, they were" "Is it possible to die of sadness? Yes, it is".

It is.

"During a period of my life, I used to see Adolf Hitler in the corridor of my house. At first I thought it was the devil. After 2 weeks Hitler disappeard and I was expecting him to be replaced by Stalin. But Stalin didn't show. It was Neruda..."

Word of the day: PILLAGE
